Africa’s fastest rapper Sarkodie has released a new tune which has proven that he has never lost his touch in the rap game.
Sarkodie, who released his first single titled Baby with Mugeez of R2Bees in 2009 was seen as a prospect who will take over the rap game.
The following years proved successful as he released unbeatable rap tunes like Lay Away with Jayso, Original, Illuminati, Life featuring the legendary Obrafour, Rap Attack featuring Vector, New Guy featuring Ace, Trumpet, Oofeetsɔ featuring Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame amongst others.
In 2016, Sarkodie release Kanta, another top-notch rap song to silence critics that he’s still the King in the rap game. This song however got M.Anifest to respond with critics judging that Sarkodie only thrives with the twi language and M.Anifest schooled him with his pen game.
This however didn’t stop Sarkodie as over the years, he kept cementing his status as the best lyricist not only in Ghana, but in Africa.
Sarkodie hasn’t served us with rap tunes such as what he did with Lay Away, Rap Attack, Take It Back, Lies, Trumpet, Revenge of The Spartans, just to mention a few.
This got critics to question Sarkodies’ rap game saying “he has lost his touch over the years and should hand the rap crown to the New School Artistes.”.
This got the Rap King to respond to with a new song titled Brag. The song shows why Sarkodie is still the King of Rap and sent a message to critics to hush up since no one will be able to match him when hit comes to hard core rap.
The lyrics video was released yesterday and already has 185 thousand views on his official YouTube channel coupled with 17 thousand likes. The lyrics video is currently trending at number two on YouTube in the music category.
