The rapper has served Ghanaians with hits after hits, gaining global recognition in the process and putting Ghana on the map.

Sarkodie has been unmatched for over almost two decade cementing his status as the finest rapper Africa has ever seen.

Born Michael Owusu Addo, Sarkodie has over 400 songs to his name and winning over 100 awards both locally and internationally.

Sarkodie once again emerged victorious at the maiden edition of the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

His hit song, Otan, won him the Best Hip Hop Song with Sarkodie showing why he has been relevant ever since bursting into the music science.

With hit songs such as bug not limited to; Baby, Pain Killer, Down On One, Lies, Special Someone, Saa Okodie No, Lay Away, Happy Day and Country Side, Sarkodie shows no signs of slowing down.

Sarkodie beat the likes of, Kweku Smoke, Gyakie, Medikal, Strongman and Black Sherif to win the award.

Congratulations to Sarkodie again for adding another award to his already impressive collection of awards.
