You can afford to buy data to insult me but can’t pay your rent - Nana Aba Anamoah descends heavily on social media user.

Rosemond Nana Aba McEwan-Anamoah, popularly known as Nana Anamoah has descended heavily on a social media user who asked her for funds to pay his rent.

The former News Anchor who doubles as a Media Personality who is also known for correcting bad grammar on social media is currently the Director for Business Development at EIB Network.

Nana Aba Anamoahs’ influence in the media spuns more than two decades as she commenced her media journey in 2001 on TV3.

She hosted shows such as; The Diva Show and The Next TV Star Show on TV3 and GH One TV respectively.

Few years ago, she had an encounter with Bongo Ideas, a Twitter user who posts degrading tweets about media personalities and celebrities.

Nana Aba Anamoah has won several awards such as but not limited to; The TV Personality of the Year Award at the RTP Awards in 2017 and 2019, The TV Female Personality Award at the Glitz Africa Awards in 2018, The TV News Anchor of the Year Award in 2004 ,2008, 2012 and 2017 and the Excellence in Media Honors at the Ghana Women of the Year Honors in 2019.

Known for her savagery, an X user asked her if she can help him with some money to pay his rent.

The four time News Anchor of the Year was in her usual savagery mood and quoted; “You can buy data to sit on Twitter and insult me, Shatta and other people but you can’t afford to pay your rent?”.

Years back, actress Yvonne Nelson denied a social media user a lucrative opportunity because the user insulted her on Twitter.

Today, it’s the same with Nana Aba Anamoah, the multiple award winning television personality.
