Ghanaian music duo, DopeNation has sent out a strong message to Kuami Eugene in their latest released single.

The music duo who also doubles as music producers are identical twin brothers made up of Michael Boafo, known as B2 and Tony Boafo, known as Twist respectively.

Five years ago, DopeNation became the first music duo to be signed to Lynx Entertainment, after music producer Richie signed them to his record label.

The duo were signed unto the record label for a one year period.

DopeNation were already a household name before being signed unto the Lynx Entertainment record label.

They had hits such as Eish and Naami, which were making rounds on the Ghanaian airwaves.

In April 2019, DopeNation were signed to Lynx Entertainment. Under the record label, the continued to release bangers such as; Confam and Zanku, which propelled them higher up the entertainment ladder.

A year later in June 2020, DopeNation decided not to renew their contract and parted ways with Lynx Entertainment.

They’ve continued to thrive in the music space by releasing various bangers after parting ways with Lynx Entertainment. Thank God, Gboza, Zormizor, amongst others are some of the hit songs the music duo released after their departure from Lynx Entertainment.

DopeNations feud with Kuami Eugene commenced some months after the latter made some demeaning statements about the former in an interview.

“What was meant to be shared amongst four boys will now be shared amongst two boys. I’m happy they left”, were some of Kuami Eugene’s remarks about DopeNation in the interview.

Fast forward, the two have been going at each other on social media. In a recent tweet via his official X handle, Kuami Eugene responded to a post by DopeNation calling their songs “gym songs”.

This prompted DopeNation to work swiftly and come out with their new single titled Gym Song.

In the song, the duo throws various shots at Kuami Eugene. “Everyone knows you’re disrespectful. Everything was for your benefit. You have to infer it the Lynx Curse. Your songs are now on probation”, we’re some of DopeNations words in their new song.

The song was sampled over Hip-Life musician Bollies Kiss Your Bride and mixed by DopeNation. The new song is making airwaves and is available on all music platforms.
